This design takes inspiration from the two pieces of Philadelphia architecture - the iconic Love Sign and the Barbelin Bell Tower at Saint Joseph's University. Many students affectionately refer to the Barbelin Bell tower as "Barb". I combined these two things into one that Saint Joe's students instantly understand and appreciate.
